Caution: Do not change anything
else in your registry while following these instructions. If you are in doubt of
what you are doing, don't do it!
Follow these instructions to change your Napster username:
1. Shutdown Napster if you are currently running the program.
2. Click on your windows start button and choose ‘run’.
3. Type ‘regedit’ in the box provided and click 'ok'. This should start your
systems registry editor.
4. Double-click ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE’.
5. Double-click ‘SOFTWARE’.
6. Click on ‘napster’.
7. Now right-click on ‘CurrentUser’ and select ‘Modify’ from the list
provided.
8. Under ‘Value Data:’ type in a new username.
9. Close the system registry.
10. Restart Napster.
11. When prompted with whether you are an ‘existing user’ or ‘new user’,
choose new user.
12. Type in your new user details including your brand spanking new Napster
username!
